May+Watkins combined our public art vision to our expertise in creating multi-sensory interactives for children in this permanent installation. We hope to reach all the children and grown-ups at USDB and provide an in-depth experience and introduction to art. This installation includes tactile, visual and aural interactives in an environment based on the landscape of Utah.

Services Provided

Extensive work with the faculty at USDB to develop effective, multi-sensory interactives that relate to the dramatic Utah landscape. We worked with Jacoby Architects, a leader in architecture focused on creating classrooms tailored for deaf students and blind students, in order to develop an installation that enhanced the unique building design.
Narrative statements, concept sketches, sketch models and final models, plans, elevations, construction drawings, fabrication and installation.
