The Water Machine provides children with many opportunities for discovering the principles of water through its multi-tiered pools, waterfall/waterwheel elements, changeable channels and spouts, crank shoots, pumps, make-your-own fountains and open-ended interactives.

The Water Machine was designed as a companion piece to its neighboring play structure, Roof Top Play. Both were created for a Reggio Emilia inspired pre-school on the Upper West Side in New York City.
