Community Playground at Central Synagogue is an immersive play space featuring two play structures inspired by natural forms – one for children three and under, and one for older children. This play space includes gross motor activities for children with a wide range of abilities, as well as opportunities for creative and imaginative play. Children can draw on a chalk wall, compose with bells and other sound interactives, weave a web, shoot a hoop, and create designs on the magnet wall.

Installation consists of 6 sections:

  • Tot Play Structure
  • Climb-on Play Structure
  • Sound Wall with bike storage coves
  • Scribble Wall
  • Magnet Wall with custom magnetic shapes
  • Toy shed

Services Provided

Concept development and narrative statements, concept sketches, artist’s drawings, sketch models and final models, plans, elevations, construction drawings, fund raising assistance, fabrication and installation.
