Through the Art in State Buildings Program, Florida Atlantic University commissioned us to create sculptures that would also function as seating, barriers to traffic, and gathering areas at the entrance to the campus.

We created nine sculptures based on coral reef imagery. Eight of these sculptures are also seating units, and three of the pieces have kinetic elements.

Narrative statements, concept sketches, model, plans, elevations, construction drawings, preliminary engineering drawing for review, fabrication, and installation.
