The Physics of Mini-Golf

The Children’s Museum of the East End

Bridgehampton, NY

36,000 Sq. Feet

2014

Physics Mini-Golf is an expansive outdoor exhibit where kids explore scientific principles. The course includes waves, loops, angles of incidence and friction holes, as well as an area where kids can create their own ramps and tunnels. The decorative back guards inform the players about the theme of each hole while providing protection and ball control.

While some excavation was needed, we were able to make use of the existing terrain to design a flowing course that is also handicapped accessible. The course is prominently sited on the museum grounds.

Attendance has exceeded expectations supplying a supplemental income stream for the museum.
